FIOH-USA date of incorporation in New York State was December 5, 2005. We are a small not for profit, tax exempt, 501c3 organization. Our eight to twelve Board members are very dedicated and work hard to raise funds and educate others about the unfair impoverishment in Eastern Africa.

Our main focus has been to assist FIOH-Kenya by sponsoring students for secondary school, college and vocational training, funding the building of bore-hole wells to provide a safe water supply, micro-lending projects and an HIV/AIDS transportation program enabling individuals in distant villages to travel to get free antiretroviral medicine.

FIOH-USA has recently expanded their outreach to include two additional new FIOH organizations: FIOH-Zinduka in Tanzania and FIOH-Zambia.
